About Quip Network

The Quip Network homepage

Quip Network is a decentralized quantum computing marketplace built by Postquant Labs. It enables users to buy compute credits and run optimization problems on quantum processors, operators to earn by reselling excess compute capacity, and developers to build quantum applications. The network runs its own blockchain secured by proof of useful work, solving real optimization problems instead of arbitrary hashes. Beyond quantum computing, Quip provides post-quantum asset protection through Quip Accounts using NIST-approved signatures paired with existing blockchain signatures like ECDSA, allowing users to protect digital assets from future quantum threats without migrating off their current chains. The platform serves finance, logistics, manufacturing, and AI workloads.

Pricing

Pricing model: Freemium

Compute credits priced at spot rates: Intent solving 980 core hours = 3.10 QUIP; AI training 312 GPU hours = 4.68 QUIP; Hash mining 58 terahashes = 1.74 QUIP; Key recovery 9.2 qubit hours = 2.90 QUIP. Testnet participation earns QUIP.

FAQ

What is Quip Network?
Quip Network is the worldwide quantum computer: an open marketplace where anyone can access quantum processors on demand, get paid to contribute compute, and build on the network. It is built by Postquant Labs. The same network also protects digital assets with post-quantum security through Quip Accounts and QuipSwap.
Is Quip Network a blockchain?
Yes. Quip Network runs its own blockchain whose proof of useful work solves real optimization problems instead of arbitrary hashes. Its asset layer works on top of existing chains, including Ethereum, EVM L2s and Bitcoin L2s, to add post-quantum protection to assets where they already live.
Does Quip Network only make quantum-resistant wallets?
Post-quantum accounts are one part of Quip Network. The core of the network is a marketplace for quantum compute, secured by proof of useful work, where buyers post jobs and quantum and classical hardware compete to solve them. Quip Accounts, QuipSwap and QVRF are products built on top of that network.
How do Quip Accounts protect assets from quantum computers?
Quip Network uses NIST-approved post-quantum signatures paired with the chain's existing ECDSA or secp256k1 signature, so the security of the base system never degrades and the post-quantum protection is always additive. On Ethereum and other EVM networks, Quip Accounts are ERC-4337 compatible smart accounts whose contracts were audited by Oak Security, support WalletConnect, and keep assets on their original chain with no migration.
What is proof of useful work?
Traditional proof of work spends energy on arbitrary hash grinding. Quip Network's proof of useful work secures the chain the same way, but the work itself is a structured compute job, such as an optimization problem, whose answer is also useful to a paying customer. Miners compete on real problems and the network records which hardware wins.
