About OpenLegion

OpenLegion is a hosted platform for AI agent teams. You describe the work you need in plain language—a research desk, follow-up routine, or weekly report—and your assistant creates the agents required and delegates tasks to them. Each agent runs on demand when there is work to do and stops when idle, costing nothing at rest. The platform enforces security and cost controls by default: every tool call is policy-checked before execution with a receipt provided, secrets remain in a vault the model never sees, code runs in an isolated sandbox, and anything that reaches a third party or deletes data requires your approval. You can set budgets per agent, view every action taken, and export your entire workspace.

FAQ
- Do I need to be a developer to use OpenLegion?
- No. You sign in with Google, describe what you need in one sentence, and the assistant staffs the team and starts the work. There is nothing to install and no configuration file to write. You will be asked to approve the first action that reaches outside your workspace, which is the extent of the learning curve.
- Do I pay for LLM usage on top of the subscription?
- No. Model usage is drawn from credits, and every plan includes an allowance: 1,000 credits once on Free, 10,000 a month on Pro, 35,000 on Team. One credit costs $0.001. On a paid plan you can also bring your own model key, billed with no markup. These are launch prices.
- What kinds of tasks can OpenLegion agents automate?
- Research and summarizing, drafting and rewriting, watching a channel and replying, keeping a schedule, running code in a sandbox, and producing a deliverable you can share with a link. Agents work in the web app on every plan, add Telegram and webhooks on Pro, and add Slack and inbound email on Team.
- How does OpenLegion handle API key security?
- Credentials live in a vault and are injected outside the model: the agent holds a handle, never a key. Every tool call is an intent that the policy engine checks before anything executes, and the result is recorded as a receipt. A compromised prompt cannot read a secret that was never in its context.
- Can I run OpenLegion in production?
- Yes. Tenant isolation is row-level security on every table. Every tool call is policy-checked and receipted, agents run under per-agent budgets, and irreversible actions stop for a human. The workspace owner can export everything on every plan.
