About Letronna®
Letronna® is an AI agent available for macOS, Linux and Windows that runs locally on your computer with your own API keys or through Letronna® Cloud. It can execute real files, run commands, access the web, and maintain memory as plain text files you can edit directly. The agent supports any OpenAI-compatible endpoint, Anthropic, local models through Ollama or llama.cpp, and includes chat integrations with Telegram, Discord and Slack.
Letronna® Cloud allows tasks to run on Letronna®'s servers when you close your computer, with web apps getting their own live links and services staying online continuously. The agent automatically pays for hosted models and cloud resources from your credit balance. It is written in Rust and starts in milliseconds, with the core runtime available as Apache-2.0 open source on GitHub.

- No. The app runs locally with your own model keys. An account is only for hosted models and Letronna® Cloud on Pro.
- Where does my data live?
- On your disk. Context and memory are plain-text files under ~/.letronna. Nothing leaves the machine unless you connect a hosted model.
- Which models can I use?
- You can use any OpenAI-compatible endpoint, Anthropic, local models through Ollama or llama.cpp, and the hosted pool on Pro.
- Does it keep memory between sessions?
- Yes. Memory is written to disk as you work and loaded on the next launch. You can edit or delete it like any other file.
- Is it open source?
- The agent runtime is Apache-2.0 on GitHub. The hosted model pool and cloud deploy are the paid parts.
