ReClaim

About ReClaim

ReClaim is a minimalist Android launcher that replaces your home screen to help you use your phone more intentionally. Rather than relying on willpower, it places friction deliberately: productive apps you actually mean to use stay one tap away, while distracting apps are harder to reach. The launcher offers app blocking for 5 minutes to a year, daily and weekly limits that automatically close apps, app reminders that ask how long you intend to use an app, scheduled blocking for recurring windows like work hours or bedtime, and four levels of hidden-app friction for apps you open out of habit. Your home screen displays only a clock and your actual favorites, with everything else in a plain alphabetical list. ReClaim has no ads, requires no account to use, works system-wide as your default launcher, and is available free on Google Play.

FAQ

Is ReClaim free?

Yes. ReClaim has no ads and every core feature, blocking, app limits, reminders, schedules, and hidden apps, is free to use. There's no premium tier gating basic functionality.

Do I need to create an account?

No. ReClaim works fully without an account. Signing in is optional and only used for future cloud backup and settings sync, it will never be required to use the launcher.

What Android versions does ReClaim support?

ReClaim supports Android 8.0 (Oreo) and newer.

How do app limits differ from blocking?

A block is a fixed window you set upfront. A limit is a recurring cap, for example 20 minutes a day, that resets automatically each day. When you hit a limit, ReClaim closes the app; raising the limit lifts it immediately.

Can I block an app in an emergency?

Blocks are always time-limited and set by you, so they expire on their own. Phone and other emergency-relevant functions are not affected by app blocking.
