SSH terminal app for iPhone and iPad with native herdr integration, sealed notifications, and Secure Enclave key storage. No accounts or servers in between.
About pocketty
pocketty is an SSH terminal for iPhone and iPad that lets you connect directly to your computers and manage development agents from your phone. It integrates natively with herdr to show agent state and notifications, with each agent's live status displayed in a native Pane view.
The app prioritizes security and privacy. Your SSH key is created in the Secure Enclave and Face ID can protect the app. Agent notifications are sealed with HPKE encryption so only your phone can read them; the relay and Apple see only ciphertext. Your terminal connection goes straight to your computers over SSH with no servers in between, and the app collects no personal data.
pocketty includes a real terminal engine powered by Ghostty, supporting hardware keyboards, Nerd Fonts with ligatures, and common modifier keys. You can view diffs of what agents changed, browse files with syntax highlighting in 20 color schemes, and preview localhost ports. Text mode lets you send whole messages at once, paste screenshots, or send files from Photos or the camera.
Setup takes one minute: install the daemon on macOS or Linux, tap your computer on the same Wi-Fi, and type a code on your computer to approve your phone. The app works with any SSH server, and Tailscale is the recommended path to reach computers from anywhere.

FAQ
- How does the free trial work?
- Everything works for 14 days from your first connection. Then $99 once keeps it. Nothing is charged when the trial ends.
- Do I need herdr?
- No. pocketty works with any computer you reach over SSH. herdr adds the native Pane view and agent notifications.
- Do I need Tailscale?
- It is the path we recommend. It gives each computer an address that works anywhere, and code setup needs it. Any SSH server you can reach works too.
- Can you read my notifications?
- No. Your computer seals each one so only your phone can open it. Our relay passes the sealed bytes to Apple, and keeps nothing.
- Is there an Android version?
- Not yet. pocketty is for iPhone and iPad today.
