Scan a child's drawing and watch it walk, jump and dance on a stage or in AR on iPhone or iPad.
About Levende
Levende is an iOS app that brings children's drawings to life. You scan a drawing from paper, and the app automatically cuts out the figure, creates a skeleton, and animates it with 20 different moves including walking, jumping, dancing and more. Drawings can be animated on a digital stage with backgrounds, placed on your kitchen table in augmented reality, or recorded as videos. The app also recognizes vehicles like cars and buses and animates them with driving motions. All processing happens on your device with no internet connection, account creation, or data upload.

FAQ
- How do I get a good scan?
- Lay the drawing flat in good, even light, without your own shadow across it. Drawings with clear, dark outlines on white paper work best.
- What if an arm or leg is missing?
- On the cutout screen, use Add to paint the missing part back with your finger, and Erase to remove anything extra. On the skeleton screen, drag the dots onto the head, hands and feet, or tap Find again.
- Which devices can use AR?
- AR needs a device with ARKit, which every iPhone that runs iOS 17 and every iPad that runs iPadOS 17 has.
- Is anything uploaded to the cloud?
- No. Levende has no network access at all: no account, no cloud, no analytics. Drawings, photos and videos stay on your iPhone or iPad.
- What does Levende cost?
- $1.99, once. Every feature and every update is included, with no ads and no subscription.
