Dreamlock

About Dreamlock

Dreamlock is a private dream journal app for iPhone that lets you capture dreams with a voice note when you wake at night. The app processes your voice on the device to extract the dream story and symbols, then generates a painted dream card with interpretations from psychological and traditional perspectives.

Your dreams are stored only on your iPhone and protected with Face ID. The app includes features like a personal symbol index that tracks recurring dream elements, a free dream dictionary, and the ability to search your past dreams. Dreamlock charges a free tier with unlimited recording but limited interpretations, and a Plus subscription for unlimited dream cards and advanced features like iCloud sync and monthly dream reports.

FAQ

Where is my data stored?

Your data is stored on your iPhone, and optionally in your own iCloud if you enable sync. Dreamlock keeps no copy on its servers.

What happens if I delete the app without backing up?

If you delete the app without iCloud sync enabled, your dream cards are permanently lost since they only exist in your vault and Dreamlock holds no server copy.

How do I manage subscriptions?

Subscriptions and refunds are handled by Apple through your settings or by requesting a refund directly from Apple.

What is the free dream interpreter tool?

The free dream interpreter on the website offers one reading per day. It uses Claude from Anthropic to read dreams from Dreamlock's dictionary, with attributions to traditions and no medical or psychological claims.
