Founder stories on Best Digital Launch
Each product you founded can have its own story, told in your words.

What you are writing
Every founder story belongs to one product and one founder. Run more than one product? Each one gets its own story. A product with three founders can have three stories.
Finding your products
Your stories live at /account/founder/story once you are signed in. You see each of your products with its story's state (Not started, Draft, or Published on a number of sites) and a button to write or edit it. You can also start from a listing: its profile screen in your account has a 'Founder story for <product>' card.
Inside the editor
The editor is headed 'Founder story: <product>' and has six guided sections: How it started, The problem, What we built, The hard parts, Milestones and What's next. Drafts autosave while you write. A story can carry up to 4 photos. 'Help me word this' suggests clearer wording for what you wrote, with no new facts.
Checks before it goes live
Publishing needs a complete founder profile (/account/founder): the story shows your name and photo. You need 3 or more sections and at least 200 words; at most 2 links; no prices or promotions. Revenue and funding milestones are fine.
Where readers see it
The story's own address is /launch/<listing>/story/<founder>. Your founder profile links each product's story, and the /stories screen lists every published story. The product's listing carries a card for the story. Free listings show the story card locked; it opens when the listing becomes a paid launch.
Old links still work
An earlier story that covered several products stays on your founder profile as your general text; new product stories start from it. Stories can be edited later; publishing again makes the change live. If you shared a /founder/<name>/story link, it still works - it leads to the product story, or the founder profile for several.
Questions people ask

- No. Each story is about one product. An older story covering several stays as your general text.
- Where do I write it?
- In your account, under Founder story.
- Why is the story card locked on my listing?
- It is part of the full profile, which is locked on a free listing until it becomes a paid launch.
