- Open the Studio, which has everything on one page. You can recreate a thumbnail you like from a YouTube link or uploaded image, or switch to Prompt mode and describe your video. Pick a persona or Faceless, type the words for your thumbnail, add any changes in one box, choose between 16:9 or 9:16 format, then press Make. You only sign in at that point with Google or email, and a typical thumbnail is ready in about 30 seconds.
- Do I need design skills to use WThumb?
- No. There is no canvas and there are no layers. The Studio is one page where you provide a reference or description, pick your persona or Faceless, add the words, then press Make. To change a result, you describe the change in plain words and WThumb reworks the picture.
- What resolution do thumbnails come at?
- Full HD+. A 16:9 thumbnail is 2048 × 1152 JPEG, sharper than 1080p. A Shorts thumbnail is 1152 × 2048. There is no watermark and the file uploads to YouTube as is.
- Can I edit thumbnails after they are generated?
- Yes. Press Change it under a finished thumbnail, describe the change in plain words, and WThumb reworks that picture into a new version. Each revision uses 1 credit, and you can revise the new version again as many times as you like. Every version stays in My thumbnails.
- What happens if a thumbnail fails to generate?
- The credit goes back to your balance automatically. If it is unclear at first whether a thumbnail was made, WThumb holds the credit while it checks and gives it back if no thumbnail turns up within 30 minutes.
