Saving is best-effort and depends on the game, engine, and browser. Some games offer full saves with three slots, export/import capabilities and cloud sync if signed in. Others support only in-game saves kept in the browser, while some games have no save support. All saves are stored in your browser and don't follow you to other devices unless exported or synced to an account.

What is Resume and how does it work?

Resume is a snapshot feature that lets you continue from where you left off in console games, DOOM games, PAL98 and original games. It captures the entire emulated machine state and is written every 10 seconds while visible, when the tab is hidden, and before opening a link. The snapshot is stored locally in your browser only and is not synced to your account.

Why is the game stuck on Loading?

Reload the page and make sure you're using a current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. For DOS games, check that you can reach the engine's website shown in Sources, as content blockers or school and work networks sometimes block it.
