About Vidleaf

Paste a video link and read existing subtitles instantly, or choose to transcribe videos without captions. Search for keywords to jump to specific moments, select the lines you need, and export them as text, SRT, or Markdown with timestamps. Features include bilingual viewing, AI summaries, speaker separation, and translation. Reading existing subtitles is free; transcription and AI features use metered allowances.

FAQ

Can I use Vidleaf without creating an account?

Yes. You can read, search and export subtitled videos from YouTube and Bilibili without signing in, but with a daily limit on new reads. Signed-in users have unlimited reads of existing captions and access to transcription, summaries and translation within their allowances.

What happens if a video has no subtitles?

When a video has no subtitles, you can choose to transcribe it. Your account shows the audio duration and available transcription minutes before you confirm. The free allowance is 30 minutes per week; purchased packs include more.

How much of Vidleaf is free?

Reading and searching existing captions is free with no metering. Guests get 5 reads per day; signed-in users get unlimited caption reads. Free accounts receive 30 transcription minutes per week and 10 AI tasks per week, plus a one-time 30-minute and 10-task sign-up bonus.

Are there ads or will the price change?

Vidleaf runs no ads. Reading captions remains free. Packs and passes are one-time purchases with no automatic renewal; prices and terms are shown before you pay.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. You can request a refund within 14 days of payment. If unused, you receive a full refund. If used, the refund is prorated based on remaining entitlements. One successful refund per order closes all remaining entitlements.
