About staywith.pet

staywith.pet turns photos of your cat or dog into a 3D pet that comes to live on your Mac desktop. Upload a few photos (side view and face work best), and in under ten minutes you see your pet rendered in 3D in the app, complete with their unique features like white socks or floppy ears. You can review the 3D preview for free before paying anything.

Once you keep your pet for $19, they hop out onto your desktop and live there with their own behaviours: walking along the Dock at their own pace, napping on window edges, watching your cursor, and sleeping when you step away. The app uses minimal resources, lighter than a browser tab, and never blocks clicks or steals focus.

Every pet comes with ten pixel-art versions as bonus companions. The app runs on Apple silicon Macs (M1 or later) on macOS 14 Sonoma or newer, and one purchase covers up to three Macs. If your pet doesn't look like them, you get two free regenerations or your money back within 14 days.

FAQ

Can I try it without photos of my pet?

Yes. You can pick one of 22 ready-made cats and dogs in the app, from a French Bulldog to a Maine Coon, and see it on your desktop in 3D for free. Keep it for $19 once and give it any name you like.

Which Macs does it run on?

staywith.pet runs on Apple silicon Macs (M1 or later) on macOS 14 Sonoma or newer. One purchase covers up to 3 of your Macs.

What happens to my photos?

Your photos are used only to make your pet. They are deleted 30 days after delivery, or straight away if you ask, and they are never used for training unless you opt in.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once for your pet, and every new behaviour added later is included at no extra cost.

How long does it take to create my pet?

Usually five to eight minutes from adding photos to seeing your pet in 3D. You can close the app and the service will notify you when your pet is ready.
