What is NXTO?

NXTO (short for "Next To Play") is a free web app that recommends games based on the games you already own and have finished, finds games similar to any title, and keeps your backlog organised. You can import your Steam library, rate what you have played, and get picks for what to play next in any browser without installation.

How does NXTO recommend games?

NXTO builds a taste profile from the games you mark as Done and rate by weighting genres and tags according to your rating, giving a boost to series you like, and excluding games already in your library or that you hid. You can filter results by genre, length and platform, and recommendations improve as you rate more games.

Can I import games from Steam?

Yes. You can sign in with Steam and NXTO reads your owned games and playtime from Steam's public API, matches them to its catalog, and lets you choose what to import and whether played games land as Backlog, Playing or Done. Playtime syncs automatically every day, and you can opt in to having new purchases added for you.

What is Ask AI?

Ask AI lets you describe what you are in the mood for in your own words and returns two or three picks, each with a reason written for your library. The first pick is free per account; after that you can buy a pack of 10 picks for $0.99 (one-time) or use NXTO Premium at about $3/month for 30 picks per month and custom folders.
