About LowRouter
LowRouter is an AI router that sits between your application and LLM providers as a proxy gateway. It supports many providers and models through a single OpenAI-compatible API, letting you choose your provider, model, and region for each request. Every response includes metadata showing the provider, region, carbon emissions, grid intensity, and cost. The platform is hosted in France and operated by Carbonifer SAS, keeping your keys, billing data, and usage metadata in the EU and outside CLOUD Act reach. LowRouter does not store, train on, or transform your prompts—requests are forwarded directly to your chosen provider unchanged, with only billing metadata retained.

Pricing model: Paid
Pay-as-you-go credits. Top-up fees: Business rate 5.5% + €0.30, Standard rate 6.5% + €0.30, International 8.5% + €0.30. Minimum top-up €5.00. Tokens billed at upstream provider's per-token price in EUR with no per-token markup.

- LowRouter is an AI router and gateway that sits between your application and LLM providers. It offers one OpenAI-compatible API in front of many LLM providers, forwards your requests to the provider you chose, and returns responses with carbon and cost metadata. It does not run its own models.
- Do you use my data for training, analytics, or marketing?
- No. LowRouter does not train on, analyze, or sell your prompts or responses. Requests are forwarded to the chosen provider unchanged, and only billing metadata (tokens, model, cost, carbon) is retained for your dashboard.
- Can I pin requests to a specific country or jurisdiction?
- Yes. You can pin an alias to a provider, model, and region, or filter the catalogue to EU-only providers. The routed region is returned in every response.
- How accurate are the carbon numbers?
- The carbon estimates are built from open, citable sources: Ember Climate country averages refined with regional grid-operator data, and EcoLogits for inference energy. Every assumption is documented in the methodology.
- Are you an LLM provider?
- No, we're a proxy. Your prompt goes to the provider you picked, with streaming intact. We don't read, store, transform, or train on it.
