log8 is a scorebook app for Android and iPhone that tracks results from 72 games including sports, board games, cards and esports. Users log game results, which only become official once all other players approve them, ensuring trustworthy head-to-head records. The app builds group boards, cups and tournaments automatically from approved results, lets friends play without the app as guests, and keeps all data private and shared only with people you played with. It features 40 badges earned from approved games, customizable tournaments, chat with your crew, and optional location tracking.

FAQ

Do my friends need the app to play?

No. Friends can be added as guests and the game counts immediately. When they later join log8, all previously logged games automatically move to their account.

What if someone logs the wrong score?

Players can tap Disagree and the result does not count. If a score is already official and needs fixing, players can ask for a change and the same players must approve the new score.

Can we run a tournament?

Yes. You can run a cup with your group as a round-robin, knockout or best-of series with 2 to 16 entries, and log8 tracks every match and crowns the champion.

Is my data private?

Your record is shared only with people you played with. log8 has no advertising identifier, no analytics SDK, location is optional, and messages are stored encrypted.

Which games can I log?

72 so far, across team sports, racket and court games, combat, races and records, board games, cards, quick party games and esports. Each scores the way it is played: sets for tennis, a finish and a round for a bout, times and distances for a race. Playing something we have not listed? Make it a custom game. If it catches on, we make it official.
