About Imposter Game
Imposter Game is a fast-paced social deduction word game where one player secretly becomes the imposter. Everyone else receives the same word, but the imposter gets a slightly different word or sometimes no word at all in advanced modes. Players take turns describing their word carefully without revealing too much, then discuss and vote to identify the imposter.
Unlike Mafia or Werewolf, Imposter Game is quick to start, requires no moderator, and works perfectly both in person and online. Each round takes 5-15 minutes and challenges players to blend in while others try to detect deception through discussion and observation.
The game features four unique modes: Classic, Wereword, Hardcore, and Double Spy. Players can choose from over 30 categories with 3500+ words. No download is required and the game works on any device with a web browser.
