About APIClaw

The APIClaw homepage

APIClaw is a unified API gateway that routes requests to multiple AI providers through a single OpenAI-compatible endpoint. Users can access Claude, GPT, Gemini, DeepSeek, and over 100 other models with one API key and one monthly invoice, starting at $19.

The service eliminates per-token billing in favour of flat-rate monthly plans with predictable daily request limits. Plans range from 500 requests per day on the $19 Plus tier to 8,000 requests per day on the $129 Ultimate Max tier, with limits resetting daily at 00:00 UTC.

APIClaw removes constraints found in direct provider subscriptions: no five-hour session windows, no weekly usage caps, and no surprise overage charges. It integrates with Cursor, Claude Code, VS Code, JetBrains IDEs and other tools that support OpenAI-compatible APIs. Billing is crypto-first via NOWPayments, with no credit card required for the 50-request free trial.

FAQ

How does APIClaw compare to a $100 Claude Max or ChatGPT Pro subscription?
The $19 Plus plan covers more monthly working capacity than the $100 tier from either vendor, and the $129 Ultimate Max plan covers several times the $200 tier. The larger difference is that those subscriptions meter usage in five-hour sessions with a weekly ceiling, stopping you mid-task, while APIClaw gives you a daily allowance that resets at 00:00 UTC with no session window and no weekly ceiling.
Why is APIClaw cheaper than paying a provider directly?
Direct API billing charges for every token in and out, and coding agents resend the entire conversation on every turn, so a single long session can cost more than a month of APIClaw. A flat monthly plan removes the per-token meter entirely, making your bill identical on your heaviest and lightest days.
What is the catch?
Your plan sets how many requests you can make per day, and heavier models draw on that allowance faster than lighter ones. There is no token meter, no session window and no weekly cap. If you outgrow a plan you can move up at any time and the new allowance applies immediately.
Can I cancel, and what happens to my plan?
Plans are monthly and do not auto-renew into a contract. You simply stop paying for the next month. Your key keeps working until the current period ends, and your dashboard shows the expiry date.
What does 'unlimited tokens per request' mean?
There is no cap on the number of input or output tokens in a single API call. You can send a 200,000-token context window and receive a full response without hitting a per-request token ceiling. Your plan controls how many requests you can make per day, not the size of each one.
