Control what lands in your inbox
Every notice email has a one-click unsubscribe link. For finer control, head to /account/notifications and pick each notice type and how often it arrives.
Some emails always ship: receipts, refunds, payment problems, listing holds and security notices. You can't turn these off.
Switch your sign-in email
Open /account/email, enter the new address and your password. We email your current address and the new one: press the button in both emails. Your sign-in email changes when both are confirmed; other browsers are signed out and a confirmation goes to the old address. Without access to the current inbox, send a request from /help and we check it is you.
Remove your account and data
Go to /account/privacy and choose 'Close your account'. The page shows exactly what will happen before anything changes; you then confirm with your sign-in email and password. Closing unpublishes your listings, removes your personal data and signs you out everywhere. It cannot be undone, and paid listings are not refunded (your statutory rights are not affected).
For your own files: /account/privacy gives you one zip file with everything we hold, invoices included.
Invoices stay on file for the period the law requires. See /privacy for how we handle personal data.
Questions people ask

- No. Receipts, refunds, payment problems, listing holds and security notices always send. Other notice emails have one-click unsubscribe links or can be toggled at /account/notifications.
- What happens to my invoices when I close my account?
- Invoices are kept for as long as the law requires, even after your account is removed.
- How do I ask for my data to be deleted?
- Choose 'Close your account' at /account/privacy. After you confirm, your listings are unpublished and your personal data is removed. Invoices stay for as long as the law requires, and closing cannot be undone.
